    Scott Bessant

    Founder & Director
    Chiropractor
    BSc. Master of Chiropractic

The love and passion that Scott has for Chiropractic was born through his active sport and exercise background. Health and Fitness has always been a central component to his life and as a teen rugby and resistance training meant that he spent a lot of time with chiropractors and physiotherapists in order to get back onto the field.

Scott graduated from Macquarie University with a Masters in Chiropractic and it was at university where his excitement and involvement for Sports Chiropractic began to flourish, completing a Functional Sports Chiropractic course that vastly expanded his understanding of how to approach pain and dysfunction.

Scott has completed a variety of manual therapy and exercise and rehab courses including a musculoskeletal dry needling course, FAKTR tool application course and Functional Neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation. During treatment, Scott will utilise these techniques along with manual adjustments and muscle release techniques in order to optimise function of each patient.

Although sports may be his passion, Scott has also invested time in learning postural correction methods that tailor towards office workers and lighter treatment modalities such as mobilisations, drop piece and activator tools in order to be able to achieve the best outcomes for the older individuals in our community.
